Rental Agreement
NOTE: WE RENT EQUIPMENT TIME AND NOT EQUIPMENT USAGE.
ALL RENTALS ARE 24 HOUR PERIOD.
EQUIPMENT RENTAL POLICY
Thank you for choosing Pro AV Source, LLC (stages.rent) for your event needs. We take pride in providing high-quality rental equipment to our customers, and we want to ensure that your rental experience is smooth and enjoyable. To help us achieve this goal, we have established the following equipment rental policy:
RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
All equipment rentals require a reservation and payment in full at the time of booking. We accept major credit cards, cash, and checks as payment methods. Equipment reservations are not guaranteed until payment has been received.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel your equipment reservation, please notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled pickup or delivery time. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the pickup or delivery time will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the total rental fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pick up or delivery time will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the total rental fee.
EQUIPMENT PICKUP AND DELIVERY
Equipment pickup is available at our location during our business hours. Delivery and pickup services are available for an additional fee, and must be arranged at the time of booking. We will deliver the equipment to the designated location at the agreed-upon time, and will pick up the equipment at the end of the rental period.
EQUIPMENT USE
The equipment is intended for indoor or outdoor use as specified in the rental agreement. All equipment must be operated by an adult over the age of 18. The renter is responsible for ensuring that the equipment is used in a safe and appropriate manner, and in accordance with any instructions provided by our staff.
EQUIPMENT CARE AND CLEANING
The renter is responsible for the proper care and cleaning of the equipment during the rental period. Any damage caused by improper use, care, or cleaning will result in additional fees charged to the renter.
LOSS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT
The renter is responsible for the full replacement cost of any equipment lost, stolen, or damaged during the rental period, including any necessary repairs. We encourage renters to obtain additional insurance coverage for the equipment during the rental period.
EXTENDED RENTALS
If the renter needs to extend the rental period, please contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements. We will make every effort to accommodate your request, subject to availability of the equipment.
SAFETY
Our rental equipment is inspected and maintained regularly to ensure safety. However, the renter assumes all risks and liabilities associated with the use of the equipment.
FORCE MAJEURE
Our company shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this equipment rental policy if such failure arises from causes beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, pandemics, epidemics, government regulations, war, strikes, civil disturbances, power outages, severe weather, or any other similar event (a “Force Majeure Event”).
In the event of a Force Majeure Event, our company shall have the right to suspend or terminate this equipment rental policy without liability to the renter. Our company shall use reasonable efforts to notify the renter of any Force Majeure Event as soon as reasonably practicable. We shall also use reasonable efforts to resume performance of our obligations as soon as reasonably practicable following the cessation of the Force Majeure Event.
The renter acknowledges and agrees that our company shall not be responsible for any damages or losses incurred as a result of a Force Majeure Event.
